Software Engineering Department (Turkish program) was established in 2014 within the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences at Sakarya University. In 2019, the Software Engineering English program was opened and it was decided to enroll students only in the English program.
Beginning in the fall semester of 2020, students started to be admitted to the department.
