Applications for Three Course Exams (3 Courses)

Applications for the 2025–2026 Academic Year Fall Semester Three Course (3 Courses) Exams will be accepted via the Student Information System (OBS) between 23 January and 9 February 2026.

Students may submit their applications by logging into the Student Information System and following Application Procedures > Three Course Exam Application within the specified dates. During the application process, courses must be selected and the SAVE button at the bottom of the page must be clicked to complete the application.

Conditions for Three Course Exam Applications

Students who have three or fewer failed courses may apply for three course exams for their failed courses.
If a student cannot meet the CGPA ≥ 2.0 requirement even after receiving an AA grade in these courses, they may apply for grade improvement exams from previously passed courses, provided that the total number of courses does not exceed three and the CGPA ≥ 2.0 requirement can be met. Otherwise, they are not eligible to apply.

Students with fewer than three failed courses may, provided that the above condition is met, select failed and grade improvement courses together, not exceeding a total of three courses.

Students with no failed courses who do not meet the CGPA ≥ 2.0 requirement may apply for a maximum of three courses.

Students who have not taken a course or who failed a course due to non attendance are not eligible to apply for three course exams.

Students who have previously applied for single course or three course exams are not eligible to apply again for three course exams.

Students who have exceeded the maximum duration of study are not eligible to apply.

Applications cannot be made for applied courses such as Graduation Project, UMDE, Professional Training in Business, Workplace Practice, Internship, Teaching Practice, or Internship Programs.

Students are required to take exams for all courses they apply for. For any course selected during application but not taken in the exam, regardless of the previous grade, a GR grade will be recorded on the transcript and the student will be considered unsuccessful.

Changes can be made during the application period. Students who pass a course through make up exams after applying are advised to carefully follow the process by taking the above condition into account.

Students are entitled to apply for three course exams only once during their academic life. Therefore, students who do not wish to use this right after applying must cancel their application within the application period. Otherwise, they will lose their right to apply again.
