The National Intelligence Academy (MİA) aims to approach intelligence studies in Turkey through an interdisciplinary perspective and to contribute to the recognition and development of intelligence as an academic discipline. Among its primary priorities are supporting Turkey’s strategic vision, fostering an intelligence community that interacts with the international academic world, and conducting scientific events, research, and publications.
In line with these objectives, MİA will organize the International Intelligence Studies Congress on October 10–12, 2025 in Ankara. The congress seeks to address key issues in intelligence research both in Turkey and globally, assess the existing body of work in the field, explore the possibilities of alternative paradigms, and identify potential areas for future studies.
The congress will adopt an interdisciplinary approach, examining intelligence studies from the perspectives of the social sciences, humanities, natural sciences, and engineering disciplines. All academics, scholars, and researchers who wish to contribute original studies to these discussions are warmly invited to participate in the congress.
