Under the leadership of the Radio and Television Supreme Council and in cooperation with Ankara University, Ankara Bilim University, Başkent University, Turkish Youth Confederation and Istanbul Family Foundation, an international summit titled “Social Transformation with the Power of Media” will be organized to discuss the effects of media content on society in a multi-dimensional way and to evaluate the role of media. Within the scope of the summit, a digital poster contest will be organized to discuss the media, which is considered to have the power to realize social transformation, especially individual transformation, from different and new perspectives.
The contest aims to raise awareness, especially among young people, about violence, discrimination, intolerance and various negativities (re)produced in media content and to strengthen media literacy in this way.
Applications for the Digital Poster Contest, which will be open to all students studying associate and undergraduate education at universities across our country, will start on March 05, 2025 and end on April 07, 2025 (23.59). The Technical Specification, Contract and technical file for the competition, the announcement regarding the competition will be published on RTÜK's official website and social media accounts, and online applications can be made via the website.
