2024-2025 Spring Semester Course Registration Application From A Different Department

2024-2025 Spring Semester Course Registration Application from a Different Department

Students who will apply to take courses from different departments in the 2024-2025 Spring semester should first check whether the course they will request from SABIS-Course Programs is open and carefully review the course registration announcement below:

https://dersprogram.sabis.sakarya.edu.tr/

-Applications will start on 17/02/2025 and end on 19/02/2025.

-The Registration Application Form from Different Departments attached to the announcement must be sent to bf@sakarya.edu.tr via sabis student e-mail (the system does not consider personal e-mails).

You are only allowed to submit the application form once and you are responsible for it. You are expected to apply for the course within the registration rules.

- If you meet at least one of the following conditions to take a course from a different department, please submit a petition.

  • Conflict, (when the conflict status and attendance obligation are checked, the relevant conflict must be written in detail in the form as day and time, conflicting courses that are not valid will not be accepted)
  • ECTS completion, (information about ECTS deficit should be given in the form, detailed explanation should be made)
  • Graduation (last semester of the relevant semester)
  • Or you cannot take a course from another department without a valid excuse.

Forms in which the excuse is not written/understood clearly and in detail, in which the course to be taken from which faculty/department is not reported correctly with the course code and name, or in which the course to be taken in the department instead of the requested course is not specified will not be evaluated.

Note: Courses that do not require attendance are not included in the conflict check. The course content of the course in the department and the course you will take must be compatible.

-The fact that you have applied does not mean that you are enrolled in the courses!

After the applications are evaluated by your department and approved by the board of directors, they will be entered into the system by the relevant student affairs. Please check your Selected Courses in your SABIS account.
