Sakarya Digital Office, which is carried out by Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality, Department of Strategy Development, is organizing the Young Participation Project Workshop 2024 Idea Competition. With the Youth Participation Project Workshop, it is aimed to involve young people in decision-making processes by developing and projecting ideas about the future of the city. In the Idea Competition, "Sakarya Urbanism Award" will be given to the project that is deemed worthy of the first place after the citizen voting, and "Participation Incentive Award" will be given to each project participating in the citizen voting.
Participants in the study will be able to submit more than one project if they wish in a total of 6 different categories, including "Food, Environment and Water Management", "Architecture and Urban Design", "Transportation and Urban Mobility", "Youth, Sports and Culture", "Social Services" and "Digitalization".
Applications will be made as an individual, group, initiative, platform or club between the ages of 15-30 until October 13 via the website "www.sakarya.bel.tr". After the jury evaluation, the projects will be submitted to public voting on November 18 - December 01, 2024. The winning projects will be announced on December 2.
