Applications for the Recognition of Prior Learning for the 2026-2027 Academic Year will be submitted online through SABİS. The examinations will be conducted in person.

For courses: An education certificate related to the subject, obtained from authorized educational institutions or public institutions, or a reference letter confirming that the relevant training was completed.
Important: Certificates or reference letters documenting practical knowledge and skills acquired in institutional workplaces or through in-service training must specify the student's knowledge, skills, competencies, activities performed, and duration of work/training. These documents must be approved by the highest-ranking authorized official of the workplace. Reference letters issued by academic staff will not be accepted.
For Internship, Workplace Training, and Workplace Practice: A portfolio prepared during the student's work at the relevant workplace or an internship journal prepared in the format specified by the department.
Important: Students must document that they were registered with the Social Security Institution (SGK) at the relevant workplace during the period in which the learning outcomes were acquired. The application must include documents approved by the highest-ranking authorized official of the workplace, demonstrating the knowledge, skills, and competencies acquired, the activities through which they were acquired, and the duration of the work or training.
Important: When the Workplace Training and Workplace Practice courses are evaluated together, applications exceeding the 15 ECTS limit will be accepted. Students who apply for Recognition of Prior Learning for these courses will not be permitted to apply for recognition for any other courses.
