TÜSEB 2026 Undergraduate Student Project Competition Call

The Türkiye Sağlık Enstitüleri Başkanlığı has announced the 2026 Project Competition Call for undergraduate students.

Purpose of the Call
The program aims to encourage undergraduate students to develop short term, original, and innovative research project ideas and become part of the R&D ecosystem. It supports early engagement in academic and scientific research at the undergraduate level. Project teams must include students from at least two disciplines among medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, veterinary medicine, engineering, health sciences, and basic sciences.

Scope of the Call
Project proposals are expected to focus on pioneering studies aimed at developing innovative products. Priority will be given to projects that contribute, directly or indirectly, to transforming ideas into tangible outputs.

Teams will be evaluated competitively within designated application areas, and selected projects will receive financial support to carry out their proposed research. Supported projects will also be monitored within the program framework.

• Oral and Dental Health and Treatments
• Pharmacological Sciences
• Awareness in Chronic Diseases and Public Health
• Neuroscience
• Traditional and Complementary Medicine
• Medical Devices

Participation Requirements

• Each project team must include undergraduate students from at least two different disciplines.
• One student will act as the Project Coordinator, while others will participate as Researchers.
• Applications must be submitted with an academic advisor holding a PhD degree.
• A support letter from a relevant institutional authority is required.
• Up to two advisors may be included, provided they are from different disciplines.
• Advisors must hold a PhD and be employed full time at their institution.
