According to the statement made by YÖK, with the Academic Thesis Program (ATP), artificial intelligence in the field of defense industry, graduation projects at undergraduate level at universities and thesis studies at graduate level will be discussed.
The program aims to increase competencies in the field of artificial intelligence in the defense industry, contribute to the need for qualified human resources in the sector and establish cooperation between academia and industry in the field of artificial intelligence.
ATP will offer undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to shape the technologies of the future and develop innovative projects in the field of artificial intelligence by reinforcing their theoretical knowledge with practical applications.
Final year (4th grade) students of fields such as engineering, technology, natural sciences, electrical-electronics, computer and informatics, aviation and space sciences, and those who have a master's degree with thesis in these fields can apply to the program.
Applications will be received until October 25 via the https://vizyonergenc.com/ilan/3124 address within the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB).
Students accepted to the program will be announced on October 31. Successful students will benefit from opportunities such as internship, candidate engineering program and project support in line with their competencies.
