2025 - 2026 Academic Year Fall Semester Course Add - Drop Announcement

Add - Drop procedures will be carried out on Thursday and Friday, October 2 - 3, 2025.

Students who wish to make Add - Drop changes must fill out the attached “Course Add - Drop Application Form” and submit it in person to their advisors at their respective department offices on October 2 - 3, 2025.

With the approval of the advisor, students may drop a course they have selected or choose a new course in place of the dropped one. A sample application form has been provided in the attachment for students wishing to make Add - Drop changes. Students must complete this form to proceed with the process.

General Add - Drop Rules

  1. Excuse-based course registration cannot be done during the Add - Drop period.

  2. Group changes cannot be made during the Add - Drop period.

  3. In case of course conflicts during the Add - Drop dates, a change of course type (day/evening program) may be made.

  4. Students cannot select a group in Add - Drop procedures.

  5. A course dropped during the Add - Drop period cannot be re-added.

  6. A student cannot drop a course taken for the first time in lower semesters, or a course with a DZ (Fail due to attendance) grade and compulsory attendance, in order to add another course.

  7. If the number of students falls below the course opening limit set by the Senate, students cannot drop the related elective course.

  8. A student may only enroll in different courses corresponding to the ECTS credits of the dropped courses, provided that enrollment rules are followed.
