As the Presidency of Defense Industries of the Republic of Türkiye, we carry out comprehensive efforts to determine, disseminate, and sustain the human resource competencies needed to develop products and systems that will reinforce our country’s technological superiority. One of the key outcomes of these efforts, the “National Competence Initiative” Project, was approved and launched at the Defense Industry Executive Committee (SSİK) meeting held on August 6, 2024.
Within the scope of this project, the first “Career and Competence Meetings” live-streamed event was held on December 25, 2024, and reached over 26,000 viewers. Designed to enhance student employability, this online event offers career-oriented sessions aligned with a talent management model, inspiring talks, expert speakers in the field, and surprise rewards such as technical tours and early-career opportunities.
The second “Career and Competence Meetings” will be streamed on May 7, 2025, between 09:30–16:30 at https://yetkinlikbulusmalari.ssa.gov.tr
