2024-2025 ACADEMIC YEAR SPRING SEMESTER COURSE ENROLLMENT AND REGISTRATION RENEWAL ANNOUNCEMENT
The registration made between February 4-7, 2025 are SIMULATION (Trial) registrations and will be deleted, registrations for the real course will be made within the framework of the information given below.

NOTE: Registration procedures will be done electronically from SABIS accounts. Students who are newly enrolled in our university and who want to register for courses will also register electronically like the intermediate classes.
COURSE REGISTRATION PROCEDURES
1- Contribution Fee / Tuition Fee payment process: Secondary Education or Distance (blended) Education students and first education students who have passed the normal program period are required to make the contribution / tuition fee payment as of February 4, 2025 in order to register for courses. First education students who are within the normal program period do not need to make a contribution / tuition fee payment (except for students admitted from abroad). Students can see the amount of contribution/tuition fee they need to pay from the Registration Menu in the Student Information System.
Contribution Fee / Tuition Fee Payments; From February 4, 2025 until the last day of the course registrations specified in the academic calendar (including), it can be made with CREDIT CARD and BANK CARD (VIRTUAL POS) of ALL BANKS at https://odeme.sakarya.edu.tr/, as well as at all branch counters of ......AKBANK, Akbank Internet Banking with their TR ID NUMBERS. Since our students may be Associate, Undergraduate or Graduate students at our university, students in this situation will be able to pay their debt / debts by selecting the student number of the program they want to study after their ID number.

Students who enroll in a second higher education program (except double major programs) while enrolled in a higher education program are required to pay their own student contribution fees for the SECOND HIGHER EDUCATION program.
2- Step-by-step course enrollment (1st graders will also enroll in the course)
- After logging in with https://sabis.sakarya.edu.tr/tr/Login username and password, select the Student Information System (OBIS) menu.
- Select Enrollment from the left menu.
- Click the Add button for the courses you want to enroll in.
- The courses you have selected will appear at the top of the page. After finalizing your courses, click the Send to Advisor Approval button to send the courses for approval (For students who have not been assigned an advisor, advisor approval is not required during registration).
- After clicking the Send to Advisor Approval button, the system will open the Selected Courses menu. Here, if you think there is a problem with your courses, you can make changes until advisor approval, no changes will be made after Advisor Approval.
- Students who enrolled in our university for the Spring semester with Transfer and whose course adjustments (courses counted) have not yet appeared in the system will be able to register for courses during the excused registration week (by applying to the relevant student affairs between February 17-21, 2025).

Students will register for compulsory and elective courses on the specified dates. -
Registration for University Common Elective Courses will be made within the announced quotas. -
Students will register for Department Elective and Faculty Elective Courses within the quota if a quota is determined, and when the quota is full, registration will not be accepted starting from the first student who registers - When quotas are placed in the Department Elective and Faculty Elective Courses that are registered without quota, students will be ranked according to their “Grade Point Average” (GNO) and the registrations of students who are out of quota will be canceled. Students can register for another course among the courses opened on February 14-15-16, 2025.
- During the course selection process, when the student presses the Add button indicated opposite the course, he/she is enrolled in the course.
- The selected courses appear at the top of the page, when you complete the course writing process, the selected courses should be sent for approval by clicking the Send to Advisor Approval button (except for those who have not been assigned an advisor).
- When a change is required in your course selection process, your advisor will inform you via OBIS. The advisor's suggestion for change must be fulfilled and the course selection must be redone.
- You cannot change your course after your advisor approves your course selection.
- Students with a GNO of 1.80 and above can register for 10 ECTS with 30 ECTS or 2 courses with 30 ECTS, including the current semester, provided that they first register for the courses they failed in the lower semesters.
- Students with a GNO of 1.79 and below can register for 25 ECTS courses, including the current semester, provided that they first register for the courses they failed in the lower semesters.
- Criteria for taking upper class courses: 2.semester or from the end of the 1st year in the annual program until the end of the current semester, provided that all courses have been taken and passed, the GANO must be 3.00 and above..
- Students who meet the criteria for taking upper division courses, ÇAP and Yandal students can enroll in 3 courses of 15 ECTS or 30 ECTS. These students can also take courses from the upper class of the current semester.
- Students are required to register for the course(s) they have never taken and failed in the lower semesters with priority.
- In applied courses with practice hours equal to or more than the theoretical course hours, attendance will be required even if the course is repeated due to failure. Students who fail such courses will not be able to choose the course in case of course overlap.
- In associate and undergraduate programs, conflict checks are made for courses taken for the first time or courses with a DZ grade, but not for other courses.
- No conflict check is made for the previous semester courses for which the attendance requirement is met, and students in this situation are not required to attend the relevant course.
- In case of a conflict in departments with dual education, the system warns the student and the student can take the course(s) that he / she has previously fulfilled the attendance requirement with the conflicting course or from the other type of education.
- Students cannot take more than the number of elective courses in the course plan. However, they can take them instead of upgrading. In this case, the last grade and the last course taken will be valid. Please pay attention to this rule when registering for courses.
- Students who need to take extra elective courses due to ECTS deficiency can apply to the department heads with a petition and register for the course.
- Students who are out of quota and cannot register for elective courses will be able to choose from the elective courses whose quota is not filled between February 14-15-16, 2025.
